REGISTRATION FAQ - MUST READ

  • Registering for the general symposium does not register your team for the hazmat team competition. 

    • ​Each team that plans to compete must also register for the competition separately. 

   

  • Registration Deadline: Friday, January 11, 2026

    • All attendees need to reserve their own hotel rooms unless otherwise instructed by their sponsor.

    • Rooms are not guaranteed; first come, first served.

Partial funding for this event is received from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) Grant.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy:

All cancellations will be subject to a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to MICHELLE@FLHAZMATSYMPOSIUM.ORG by January 1, 2027. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

After January 4, 2027, substitutions will be allowed in the event the registrant is unable to attend, but no refunds will be issued. Telephone and email substitutions will be permitted.
